I started working on this site in 2004 because, as a teacher, I felt that being aware of the students’ learning styles was important. Many of the exercises match the three main learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Another reason for the site was the opportunity it offers for independent learning. In addition, the students can strive to beat their personal best in either result or speed and have fun!
I have considerable knowledge of the vocabulary and grammar needed to succeed in GCSE French and am working on new exercises to add to the collection! I also research other sites and add the best in the useful links page.
I also believe that being positive and optimistic helps with confidence, that is why I devoted a whole section on both.
Having left “formal teaching” in 2008, but missing the interaction with pupils, I have added the online tuition option, which I hope will prove useful.
