There is no Writing exam as we have chosen the Coursework option. We prepare 5 pieces of coursework over the 2 years and we select the 3 best ones to be sent to the moderator in April of Year 11. One of the pieces of coursework must be done in controlled conditions. In fact we do three pieces in exam conditions: one during the Winter exams in Year 10, one during the Summer exams, also in Year 10 and the last one in the Mock exams in Year 11. The other 2 pieces are in the Spring terms of Year 10 and Year 11 respectively . Again, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the Coursework’s marking scheme .
